DKSH in India

DKSH India started in India in 1989 as a liaison office. In 1996, we formed DKSH India Pvt. Ltd., which today is a 100% subsidiary of the Zurich, Switzerland-based DKSH Group. Our Head Office is located in Mumbai.

In 2009 DKSH, the leader in Market Expansion Services, and Voltas Ltd., the Indian air conditioning and engineering services firm and member of the Tata Group, reached agreement on the transfer of Voltas' Chemicals Trading Division to DKSH India Pvt.Ltd.

With this acquisition, DKSH has significantly strengthened the position of its Business Unit Performance Materials in India. This is particularly important, as this is a time when European and American clients are looking to this buoyant, emerging market for growth in a declining global economy.

We have seven offices in the major Indian industrial centers of Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Secunderabad. Through these, DKSH serves over 500 customers in the coatings, construction, cosmetics, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, plastics, and specialty chemicals industries with tailor-made solutions for their specific applications.
